This two-and-a-half day, HANDS-ON event, aims specifically at teaching participants the principles of endoscopic lumbar spine surgery.
A short, but focused session on Day one, will take you step-by-step through the common endoscopic procedures, (Transforaminal discectomy, Interlaminar discectomy, Decompression of the lateral recess and Unilateral laminotomy for bilateral decompression).
Day two focuses on interactive cases discussions, and a basic workshop teaching the handling and orientation you will need for endoscopic surgery.
Day three is unique, as it will be all hands-on training of the above procedures on realistic spine models and navigation. To enhance the learning experience, the participants will again be split into two groups, one doing the procedures while the other benefits from observing, before changing roles.
