AOSpine Europe and Southern Africa (AOSESA), and AOSpine Middle East and Northern Africa (AOSMENA), are pleased to announce that the application for fellowships in 2020 is open from May 1 to 31. Hand in your application now, in order to save your next year's fellowship space.
23 May 2019
As one of our most popular membership benefits, AOSpine offers the opportunity to join one of our experienced Spine Center directors in their daily practice to European, Middle Eastern and African spine surgeons. Interested fellows can apply for this fruitful experience of an up to 12 weeks observership in one of the world leading spine centers.
Increase your knowledge in Spine Surgery
Quality, consistency and academic qualification are key elements to a fellowship program. The purpose of an AOSpine EMEA fellowship is to provide additional experience for trained orthopedic and neurosurgeons interested in spinal surgery. The fellow is trained to become conversant in the principles, indications, planning, techniques and complications of spinal surgery.
Fellows are expected to enthusiastically immerse themselves in all aspects of the program offered by the host center.
Be part of a global community
Fellows can choose between over 60 official Spine Centers all over the world. Benefit from renowned mentors in Nottingham and Riyadh, enjoy the hospitality of Amman and Munich, work with likeminded colleagues in Kurgan and Santiago de Compostela, increase your expertise in Milan and Istanbul, and set the course for your career in Cairo and Bern. All our Spine Centers have gone through an application process in order to maintain AOSpine's high academic standards, and are led by the most committed members of our community. You can find the complete list of official centers online.
Build your network
Fellows as well as Spine Center evaluate the AOSpine fellowships not only as a good opportunity to build a global and stable professional network, but also as a chance for life-long friendships. Be part of it and make yourself ready for applying.
