New date for the AO Spine Latin America Regional Courses 2021

23 November 2020

AO SLA Regional Courses

The AO Spine Regional Courses are a unique opportunity for participants to expand their knowledge on the latest advances in spine surgery in a comprehensive, innovative, and interactive way. After close consultation with our boards, we have decided to reschedule the fifth edition of the AO Spine Latin America Regional Courses in Bogota, Colombia, to November 4–6, 2021.

The course will bring together an extraordinary scientific program, encompassing two masters courses: one on degenerative and post traumatic deformities and one on MISS and endoscopy. There is also a seminar on how to elaborate a research project, and a meeting for fellows and former fellows with—for the first time—abstracts presentation.

According to the program director Juan Emmerich, this will be the most complete learning experience of the region scheduled for next year. "We will have two masters courses, a plenary session, a research seminar, a fellows meeting, and the presence of a true 'dream team' of international and regional faculty to share knowledge, experience, latest advances, and new techniques with us in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, a well-known characteristic of our courses."

Each module has been developed aiming at a specific domain or competency within the AO Spine Curriculum allowing a particular educational experience. Renowned international speakers will join the national faculty to deliver the ultimate expertise about each subject.
