RECODE-DCM: Top 10 Research Priorities Established!
02 February 2020
We wanted to say a quick thank you for all your support and engagement with the RECODE-DCM project so far and provide you with a short update.
The Priority Setting Partnership arm of the project concluded on 20th November in New York. We were more than 5 times oversubscribed for this workshop and apologise if you missed out on attending. However, your help counted: we received >3500 research suggestions, which generated 76 summary questions. Based on their rankings in the second survey, 26 were considered in the final workshop. The wording of these questions will now be adjusted, to reflect typical ‘research’ questions, with a plan to release them in May 2020 at the Global Spine Congress. If you are interested in presenting these results locally or regionally, we would be delighted to support you - please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We now look ahead to our remaining objectives, establishing a Core Data Set and standard DCM Definition. So far we have 271 responses from across the globe to the final survey, which closes during February 2020.
