It is our pleasure to inform you that the AO Spine MENA Research Grant Award goes to:
Dr. Mahmoud Fouad Ibrahim, from Assiut University Medical School, Egypt for study proposal: "Vitamin D Deficiency As A Risk Factor For Spondylolysis In Young Adults: A Cross Sectional Study"

The 6th MENA Young Research Award was granted to (in alphabetical order):
Dr. Belal Elnady from Egypt for "Anterior instrumentation through posterior approach in neglected congenital kyphosis: a novel technique and case series" published in European Spine Journal.
Dr. Hany Abdel Gawwad Soliman, from Egypt for "Health-related Quality of Life and Body Image Disturbance of Adolescents With Severe Untreated Idiopathic Early-onset Scoliosis in a Developing Country" published in Spine Journal.
