AOSpine Knowledge Forum Trauma

The AOSpine KF Trauma is an international working group composed of 8 steering committee members who meet on a regular basis to discuss research, assess the best evidence for current practices, and formulate clinical studies in the domain of spinal trauma. It is charged with conducting clinical research, developing AOSpine classifications, guidelines, and outcome measures.

To establish and quantify the difference in the patients’ clinical outcome after surgical treatment as compared to non-surgical treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures within the first year after treatment with the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI).
